In order to become mem- bers, students must be in the top fourth of their class and be on the Yearbook or Newspaper staff. As this year draws to a close, we look back upon the events that have given meaning to our lives at Marsh Valley. Some will remain vivid in our memories. Others will fade with the passage of time. The Future Teachers of America is an organization for students looking forward to a career in education. Under the direction of capable officers and their advisor, Mrs. Louise Christensen, the F. T. A. had a very successful year. Interesting films, panels, and lecturers made the members more aware of the pleasures and problems of a teaching career. Finances were gained through various projects including selling popcorn at ballgames. This helped thern send two delegates to State Convention. F. T. A. sponsored parent visiting day and attended a tea given by Delta Kappa Gamma. The final banquet added spice to their 1966-67 F. T. A. organization. 105
