Modeling the newly purchased uniforms are Jeannette Thompson, Dale Thompson, and Pamela Chandler. The uniforms are black with silver braid and are styled somewhat like tuxedos. An overlay of silver and blue changes the uniforms from a formal look to a snappy marching style. The band has made many good achievements. Members have participated in many activities. They marched in several parades, played at games, presented three concerts, and went on the annual Christmas tour. All in all, the band has had a very successful year. Many thanks go to their director, Mrs. Lurae Brinkerhoff, after her first year at Marsh Valley. XXX, Jan Davis adds the toot of her flute as the Pep Band plays at a basketball game.
