The students took turns in editing the column The staff also published three school issues for Thanks- giving Day Valentine's Day and Easter. These papers contained school news student poetry and other types of literary writing. Mrs Richardson and Mrs. Hart took the following girls to the Northern Illinois State Teachers College at DeKalb, to hear Norma Lee Browning of the Chicago Tribune speak. The girls who attended were: Ann Farrell Elizabeth Kiner, Rozene Pellino, Jean Ann Doherty, Kay Andrews Marlene Woodin, Beverly Hill, and Rosemary Boetto.
