T he members of the library staff are very essential to the smooth operation of the library. Their biggest duty is checking books for the students, but there are also many small jobs which con- sume much time and energy. Almost all of us, at some time, have received help from one of these girls. N . The members of the band who were selected to attend the Western Carolina Col lege Band Clinic enjoyed two days of recreation and rehearsals. They made many new friends, and as proof of their ability, the large band, composed of all of the repre- sentatives, gave a public concert. -ug .4 The choral clinic repre- sentatives who attended the annu al Mars Hill College Choral Clinic were chosen after careful try-outs. They s p e nt many hours learning the music and rehearsed for two days with representatives from other schools. The Choral Clinic banquet and the concert were highlights of their days spent at Mars Hill College. HIHHSHHLS The honor of becoming a marshal is not easily obtained. It goes to those who are willing to work for it. These students worked diligently to achieve and maintain a high scholastic record. Because of this, they were chosen Junior Marshals and were privileged to take part in the graduation exercises.
