New heights have been reached in optimism about the school, the faculty, and the student body. Students have a new sense of pride in the place they call home 8 months a year. Sports events are better represented with a new en- thusiasm. Students also see Mars Hill as not only an institution of learning, but as an institution of so- cialization. While learning about specific subjects, students learn about themselves and others around them. The 1985 school year found stu- dents more willing than ever to de- velop and improve the atmosphere at Mars Hill College. College atti- tudes and objectivity were at an all- time high in 1985. Wey to go Lions! Welre getting better every day.

To be in style for the 1985 school year a few things were essen- tial: cropped pants, bulky sweaters, those wild shorts, mini-skirts, col- ored tennis shoes, and music-to-go.
