ART The department is enjoying slightly increased en- rollment for the 1981-82 school year with a large freshmen class and a good number of promising transfer students. Most of the 52 majors in the department are concentrating their studies in the areas of art education and graphic design, Ken Gregory is serving as interim teacher of draw- ing, painting, and printmaking in place of Don Mahy, who is on leave a sabbatical. The depart- ment sponsors monthly student exhibitions of paintings, prints, drawings, and pottery in the Fine Arts Gallery and is instrumental in planning and securing campus-wide exhibitions for Peterson Gallery in Blackwell Hall. For the final january term the departments teachers offered unique courses in such creative processes as metal enamel- ing and advanced photography. Right' joe Chris Robertson Below. Stephen Wing .1
