Biology Courses in biology help to develop a better under- standing of the world of living things and to provide a foundation for further study. Students majoring in biology may prepare for graduate study, for teaching, for professional study in medicine, dentistry,medical technology, nursing, physical therapy, forestry, and re- source management.
