This year marks for Miss Virginia Hart the completion of two decades of teaching and inspiring lllars Hill College students. Since 1945 she has striven to establish the ideals of good sportsmanship in campus life and sports. Despite a heavy schedule of classes and related activities, Miss Hart has found time during these years to participate creatively in the life of the community and the program of her church and in several profes- sional organizations. Among these are the North Carolina Athletic and Recreation Federation of tfollegc Wonieli, the physical education section of the North Carolina Education Association and Delta Kappa Gamma, the international sorority of teachers. Her achievements merited for her a place in Who's Who of Ameri- can Women for 1964. It is with pride that the 1965 Laurel staff and the Senior Class dedicate this yearbook to Miss Virginia Hart, teacher, coach, Lion supporter and friend. . Presenting an entire school year's activities within the pages of a single book is no easy task. Each individual cherishes his own personal memories - moments of praise, disappointment, challenge and victory which occur each day and thus make up the entire school year.
