FORE ORD The following views will picture the magnificent scenery of the mountain setting and the modern physical plant of Mars Hill College. The 1961 LAUREL then recalls the familiar faces of the Administration, the Faculty, and the Student Body as the paper comes off the press with the news of the year's events. An enrollment of 1200 men and women from various parts of the nation and world gathered at Mars Hill in the fall of 1960 to participate in activities as varied as the personalities of the students. The featured events - Homecoming, Society Anniversaries, B.S.U. Parties, May Day, and Graduation - provided the headlines of the yearg the Classes and Athletics completed the news.
