. . . WHE THE SAIN G0 MARCHI GI , What phrase at Mars Hill connotes more ebullient spirit and enthusiasm? What phrase exemplifies more triumph and unity? This is one of the first strains a student hears as he explores the campus. Its words are carried from the dorms to ball games and to other campus activities. It is sung when there is victory: it is sung when there is defeat: it is sung to express in a cadent way a student's devotion to Mars Hill College. Not to be satirical. but to show the student-saint becoming a member of the community Heaven On Earth otherwise known as Mars Hill - the staff has chosen this syncopated hymn as the theme for the 1955 LAUREL.
