And yet through the haze exists a light, a faint hope that all is possible, the Marquette NROTC Drill Team. Onward they trudged, testing even Mother Nature as they drove for twenty hours through a blinding snowstorm to complete their pilgrimage to the sa- cred city of New Orleans. There they met other wanderers and competed in games of chance and skill. Alas, the mer- riment ended all too soon and the drill teamers returned home. Karate Club Completes 2nd Successful Year Throughout the year, the Karate Club has given exciting demonstrations of their skill. These demonstrations consisted of free spar- ring, forms, and board breaking. Lots of hard work, long hours, and dedication have made the participants in the Karate Club excellent students who are able to perform such feats.
