UNIVERSITY Gesu stands outlined against the night sky, signifying the closeness which exists between the Catholic church and Marquette University. The significance of the symbol does not lie simply in its neo- Gothic beauty. nor in its long tradition on the campus, but in its place as the Home of God, the Source of all ideas. Gesu Church symbolizes the revealed ideas by which other ideas available at Marquette are understood. To accept and to propagate these ideas well, particularly those which are supernaturally given, we need strength and help above our own natural powers. This help is readily available in the many Masses and in the sacraments administered in the Church of the Gesu. Our great opportunity is to use the means of grace to strengthen ourselves spiritually so that we can go into the city as truly Catholic thinkers. Bl
