dean of men Tilt Hev. Francis A. Ryan, S.J., as the Dean of Men, is the chief officer of the University in matters of discipline, housing, student activities and social life. Father Ryan lias lieen Dean of Men at the University for 15 years. He is the chairman of the University Committee on Student Life, a member and adviser of the hoard of directors of the Marquette Union, and a member of the University Council. Edwin A. Vossman is the Assistant Dean of Men. Mr. Vossman is also a member of the Committee on Student Life. The Dean of Men's office is on the first floor of Johnston Hall. Rev. Francis A. Ryon, SJ. dean of women Mrs. Francis L. McEUigott, Dean of Women, is in charge of student activities, social life, discipline and housing among the women students. Mrs. McEUigott. a Marquette alumna, has held this position since 1935. She is a chairman of the University Committee on Academic Honors, a member of the University Committee on Student Life, the University Council, the lward of directors of the Marquette Alumnae Association and faculty director of the Women's Student Club.
