Van « Iht (.rad m ale Srltoot • The function of the Graduate School in the University is the instruction of college graduates having a bachelor’s degree in arts, in science, in philosophy or from a professional school. They do llicit advanced studies and research along lines for which they have been prepared by s|H cial and extended work in their undergraduate days. I hc Graduate School is organized as an integral division of the University. Its administrative officers are re-sponsible directly to the President and the Hoard of Trustees. Though its faculty is drawn Paw; LM from the component schools and colleges ol the University, the Graduate School is governed by an autonomous Iroard. the University Board of Graduate Studies. The seventeenth year in the Graduate School's history was opened in October of this term with the initial Faculty-Student-Graduate reception.
