FACULTY ' The sails are set, our ship is ready to leave port. The decks are clear, and the sun is glinting off the bow. We, the class of 1955, are about to leave the never-to-be-forgotten port of Marquette. lfour years ago a fresh crew was gathered together within the walls of lNI.irtluette training school to be trained in the arts of conquering that mighty sea-the sea of life, During these past four years we have been led by men who are experts in the education of youth. XVe have been a part of a system of education which has thrived for over four hundred years. Xlife have experi- enced the vigorous and wholesome atmosphere which permeates the ever growing jesuit school. Besides the thorough education we have received, there have been set before us noble ideals which our minds will ever remember and emulate. Among the greatest of inspirations of these years are the noble Jesuit educators themselves. They have done their utmost to assist us in build- ing a strong Catholic foundation for our lives. Mere thanks do not suthce for all that they have done for us. But we will prove our gratitude by taking what they have given us and conquering the heaving billows of the stormy sea of life.
