Secretary Mrs. LaVonne Hutsell takes a moment from her shorthand Ad mM n ist rat O n We Lea n O nN Superintendent Verl Hatch pauses for a moment Marquette’s new superintendent, Verl L. Board Members, top to bottom: Ron Andersen, Verl Hatch, Jim Luff, Barbara Hatch was born just north of Cozad, Nebraska Dietrich, Lanny Menke, David Vetter and Kenneth Danhauer. on July 5th. He lived in Eddyville but attended school in Lexington. After high school Mr. Hatch attended college at Hastings and at Wayne State and received his degree at the University of Nebraska. Mr. Hatch’s teaching experience includes Christian Education teacher in Lincoln, at Lincoln Northeast he taught English and at Howells he taught English, art, marching band, and was responsi- ble for twenty-one one-act plays. From Howells he went to Dorchester where he became principal. Mr. Hatch assumed the responsibilities of superintendent at Mar- quette last July. His family includes his wife Kathie and two daughters Sandy and Patsy. His hobbies and interests include gardening, he is a cartoonist and plays several musical in- struments. Six members make up the Marquette Board of Education of District 001-R. Ronald Andersen who serves as the present Board President has been on the school board two years. Secretary Barbara Dietrich is completing her fourth year on the Board. The member who has served the longest is Treasurer Kenneth Danhauer who has been a member for ten years. Leroy Jim Luff and David Vetter complete the Board of Education with two years each.
