They had a car wash, slave days and several concessions at volleyball, football and basketball games. Their big project for the year was planning the Freshmen-Senior Party which they had at Skate Island in Grand Island; later they enjoyed lunch. However, it wasn’t all work for they enjoyed a party with the seventh graders at the York Community Center. They participated in swimming, ping pong, pool and foos ball. Later they enjoyed a snack at Tom’s Drive In. They sold All-American kit items, cleaned out a horse barn and ran concessions at volleyball, football and basketball games. In April they had the thrill of choosing their class rings and while time may be moving slowly now the next two years will pass quite rapidly and soon be gone.
