Their only fund-raising project consisted of a bake sale at one of the senior high girls’ basketball games. They did not have a class party this year. Vice President; and Freshman Sponsor Linda Johnston, President are really in the ‘swing’ of it. “We Remember . . . that First Year of High School.” The Freshman Class sold candy bars and boxes of sponsored a Freshman-Senior party to show their candy as a means of raising money. They also had appreciation of the seniors. Planning The Jr-Sr Banquet” The Junior Class was busy Dave Archer Sheila Friedrichsen Troy Gustafson Ron Hutsell ; : : Lois Jackson Mary Johnston Julie Kauffman Laura Menke with money making projects and Jim Meyer Rhonda Nutzman Michelle Nelson Barb Skidmore planning the Junior-Senior Ban- quet. They had bake sales for junior high volleyball games and senior high girls’ basketball games. There was a bake sale, car wash and slave days in the fall. Again in spring they had slave days and helped carry out chickens from the Marquette Chicken House. All these projects were necessary to finance the Junior-Senior Banquet and to put aside money for their own senior activities next year. The Banquet was held on April 26 at the Bonanza Steak House in Grand Island. This an nual event was hosted by the juniors to honor the 1979 Mar- quette senior class.
