Mrs. Marcia Pierson, Teacher Fifth and sixth graders created candles as Christmas gifts for their parents. On Valentines day a pinata filled with candy was enjoyed. Learning To Multiply Divide Third and fourth graders enjoyed several field trips. One trip to the Grand Island weather station culminated a weather unit. Another trip was to Bethesda nursing home to present a Christmas program using large murals created by the students. Both classes enjoyed preparing nutritious snacks while studying a health unit. Fourth graders took mini trips during a Nebraska study unit. Se venth graders concentrated mostly on money making projects and decided to save their money for future years. They had concessions at two jr. high games. Besides bringing baked goods from home, they made brow- nies, popcorn and carameled apples in home ec. They also sold Current stationery and greeting cards. Todd Danhauer's father spon- sored a class sledding party in their pasture in February. The seventh grade class also held a party at the Community Center in York. Seventh graders listening to a bulletin read by their sponsor Mrs. Carol Malcolm. Todd Danhauer, President; Mike Johnston.
