Mrs. Alvena Erb, Librarian Personnel With the exception of 75-76, Mr. Linley Berck has been at Marquette Schools since 1965. He has been a handy-man, helping anyone who needed help. After everyone else had gone home, he would clean the school. When Dr. Zichek was at meetings, Lin drove the kindergarteners home. If anybody needed something fixed Lin was there to help. His presence will be missed by both faculty and students. Everybody's friend: Mr. Linley Berck and the kindergarteners. Marquette School Cooks: Mrs. Corana Culver Mrs. Connie Sailors. For custodian Mr. Linley Berck the work is never finished. Bus Drivers: Mrs. Nancy Nunn and Mrs. Shirley Beck.

Jason Christensen, Lonnie Jones, Amanda Carmen, Peggy Swanson. Scott Jackson, Mrs. Jane Dadey. “We Remember ... Starting School- Everything Was New” Six kindergarteners learned many new things their first year at school. They enjoyed studying the ABC's, working in letter books and painting pictures. Another fun project was making puppets. Two field trips were conducted in connection with their letterbooks. After learning the letter “N’ they visited the Aurora News Register to learn about newspapers. A trip to the Pizza Hut helped them to learn about the letter “P’’. Each student helped make a pizza and when it was finished baking they enjoyed eating it. Kindergarten graduation for the six students was held on the afternoon of May 14, 1979. The class presented a program and each student was given a diploma promoting them into the . lechiias first grade. i Levi Peggy Mrs. Jane Dadey, Teacher Reyner Swanson
