I This, the 1.950 Tatler, has attempted to port true picture of the students, the activities, the curri- culum, and all the other things of which Marquette High School is composed. Planned and published a year after our town celebrated its Centennial, it has seemed only fitting to use as a theme the Lumber lndustry, the first industry in the United States, and one of the first to establish our town. It is our hope, that as the Lumber Industry brought life and prosperity to Marquette, so will the future classes and generations who pass through this school bring added heights of fame to our city. Thus to the lumbermen of America, who built our country and our fair city, who braved the wilderness to establish a nation, and helped originate the spiritual and political policies of our land, the 1950 Tatler is grate- fully dedicated.
