Foremost among them is one who dedicated every fiber of his body and soul toward one goal: the greater glory of his King. In the fervent hope that, following his example, we too may be true knights of Christ, we the Squires of Marquette humbly dedicate this book to Ignatius Loyola, soldier and saint. ,,,- ,f XX K, AQ f? ' M , After losing their first game and having to be i i content with a tie in game number two the Squires ' really began to roll, and they didnit stop until the 1 season was over. Knocking over everyone in their way the Squires ended the regular season as league co-champions. The men .of the Rock were then V chosen to represent the Northern Division in the X valley championship game, and this they did to the , tune of a 13-0 victory over Kennewick, Southern Division representatives. As a cap to the season Marquette was rated number ten in the State Class Av High School Football Poll. All in all it was quite a season for the Marquette Squires.
