theorems. The corridor was dark and dreary. Only one small light was distinguishable at the far end of the hall. That light was coming from the science lab where an important experiment was getting underway. The experiment - dissection of a sophomore day, to de- termine what makes it tick. The ordeal had just begun, the first layer was ex- posed. Much to the surprise of witnesses, it was much like the beginning of anyone's day. There were signs of late studying and the hardships of getting out of that warm bed on an icy February morning, but so far no secrets had been discovered. The next part was the school day of the sophomore. At this time many little cells with various symbols or pictures depicting the pattern of classes came into view - one by one as the day wore on. The first was a picture of Sister Mary Janice, O.S.B., who instructs the sophomore religion class. All is or- der here - one Commandment follows another. As this scene faded, a student laden with books was seen trudging down the hall toward the Latin II class to meet Caesar and Sister M. Dolores, O.S.B., who would help them to develop their Latin lang- uage abilities. Page 69

Emily, O.S.B., helped the sophomores to understand logic in two dimensional form. VVituesses were presented with a puzzle in the next cell. A guillotine was the theme. After pondering and discussing it, they decided it was Sister Mary janice's English class where the students were study- ing A Talc of Two Cities. A break in the day called lunch time separated the first scenes from the following variety of courses that came into view. First glee club, where the girls, accompanied by upperclassmen, prepare for a music festival in Oklahoma Cityg then study hall where the students prepare their homework for the next day. The last scene was familiar for it was the room we were in - the biology lab. ln it the students, with the aid of Mrs. Anthony Benish, were dissecting a frog. ve ...., N '- l A l, i ,J U llO'S TI'lAT RAT in the lziulngy depart- menl lbiclilezll?
