What ' s a sun-dial in the shade! Benjamin Franklin We are now ready to show the world our talents. We have spent twelve years preparing and now we are ready. Some of us will be good workers. Some of us us will be good students in college. Others will go on to defend our country. But whatever we do, it will be our best. We will use the qualities that Marquette has taught us. Team work-- but yet independence. Respect for authority- -but also the courage to stand up for what we believe. We can never forget Marquette. It is now part of us. It will always be part of us whatever we do- -wherever we go. MARQUETTE HIGH SCHOOL ALTON, ILLINOIS
