In May 1955 twenty-four seniors graduate from Marquand High School. Where are the other sixteen? During the school year 1951-52, the class sponsored a bake sale, and a singing convention, most of the girls sang in the glee club, several members of the class played on the volleyball and the basketball teams. 1952-53, the class sponsored a midnight singing conventiong continued the glee club, volleyball, and basketball activities. In 1953-5h, most of the girls continued glee club, several again played volleyball and basketball, and some of the boys played on the baseball team. We also had a slave day, a work day, a bake sale, a box supper, and a junior play. l95h-55, some of the girls again in glee club, some of the class again in volleyball, basketball, and baseball. The class sponsored the following activities to raise funds for the senior trip: Sold magazines, operated a candy case, soda and popcorn standg sponsored a pie and box supper, and a work day.
