Mr. Cope was voted the most popular teacher several years in a row. Economic students will remember his WIN button. Cope shoes, and his deaf act with the attendance girls. Some of Mr. Cope ' s favorite sayings were Time out! , No way, baby and Don’t mess with the rock!”. In the seven years Mr. Cope was with the Marple Newtown Senior High School, his personality had a positive effect on his colleagues and his students. His empa- thy and concern for students is well known. Consequently, Mr. Cope s contrib- utions to the well-being of his pupils is a monument to his sense of humanity.
