stopping by woods on a snowy evening whose woods these are i think i know, his house is in the village though; he will not see nie stopping here to watch his woods fill up with snow. my little horse tnust think it queer to stop without a farmhouse near between the woods and frozen lake the darkest evening of the year. he gives his harness bells a shake to ask if there is some mistake, the only other sound’s the sweep of easy wind and downy flake. the woods are lonely, dark and deep, but i have promises to keep, and miles to go before i sleep, and miles to go before i sleep. robert frost foreword life is a journey, like all journeys life has its gay moments as well as more serious overtones, this book is the chronicle of one small segment of that journey — your high school days, we have attempted to capture the essence of these mo- mentous years, perhaps you will recall a forgot- ten moment once treasured so dearly or the face of an old friend veiled by the passage of years, if so, we have succeeded in our purpose, pause and gaze a moment, but don’t linger long, life’s woods are dark, its paths untrodden, and the journey long before you’ll see the sun. 4
