7or Mis Service Zo Us We, the class of 1960, had planned last Fall to dedicate our Memories to our principal, Mr. Herbert E. Rathey, who had guided us with so much wisdom and understanding throughout the wonderful years we had spent at Marple- Newtown. Mr. Rathey passed away on March 15, 1960, but his courage, his untiring service, and his perseverance to go on working for our needs have truly been an inspiration to us. In dedicating this yearbook to the memory of Mr. Rathey, we are only sorry that he is not here to accept our thank you.
