This growth is due partly to an increased offering of eourses such as art, music. cooking, sewing, bookkeeping, shop, etc., and also to activities such as cluhs. athletic teams, guidance periods, school papers, student councils, etc. As a result of this widening of the educational offering. lroys and girls have hcen encouraged to remain in school and receive a type of education which more closely mccts their own peculiar educational needs.
