CLASS POEM Well, here it is, that seemingly last time, We’ve waited four long years. It’s the time when we realize we ' re on our own. It’s 1965. We remember when we were Freshmen And when Homecoming came around, How girls were red with lipstick; And trousers hung somewhere in town. Then came our prosperous Sophomore year When we sold our Christmas trees, And gained experience from upper classmen To pep up the faculty. As we entered M.F. our Junior year. We held our heads high Because just another year from then It ' s M.F.H.S., good-bye. But now we ' re Seniors. We’ve spent our time. It’s good-bye faculty, good-bye friends, And good-bye old M.F. High! by The Senior class wishes to express our thanks and appreciation to our Sponsors Mrs. Wm, Berry and Mr. Dennis Campbell and also to our parents.

I hope the concepts and skills you have learned these last four years will help you meet these responsibilities. There is an old Chinese proverb that says, a journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step. May your first step be on firm ground and in the right direction. Please accept my congratulations and best wishes. Sincerely, jt. UNIT SUPERINTENDENT PRINCIPAL and GUIDANCE
