Abbot Mannion was born in Ireland in 1858 and died as abbot of Maredsous abbey, Bel- gium, in 1923. In ten years he has brought Marmion fz along the road of progress and expansion.

Inner Workings Originally designed for recreational and dining facilities, the RECREATION HALL retains the dining facilities and a small area for recreation. Expansion problems have forced classrooms to encroach on ping-pong, billiards, tele- vision, and the juke box. But we get by. Take a whiff of the smoke on a rainy morning. Snugly tucked away on the campus is the BARRACKS, the sleeping quarters for the greater part of the resident cadets. Father Damian and Father Martin hover protective-ly within these walls. 3
