R' x i :Sk ...ed C ,, 1 ttt, BOYS' STATE-Paul Domino, Bill Rastetter, Vai Woolf, and Jack Wyles Chosen as delegates to the 1969 Boys' State Con- vention were Paul Domino and Bill Rastetter. Bill, however, could not attend the convention held at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, nor could Val Woolf, first alternate. Jack Wyles, second alternate, attended the convention with Paul. The 1969 Boy's State Convention was held June 12 through the 22. Boys from all over the state of Ohio participated in a model state government. They lived in cities and counties and elected the various city and state officials. Each city was made up of fifty boys, half of them members of the Nationalist Party and half members of the Federalist Party. Paul Domino was a member of the Federalist Party and lived in Baker City, Galbrith County. He ran for Baker City treasurer and was elected to that position. As a member of the Nationalist Party, Jack Wyles lived in the city of lngersol in James County. He was elected to the House of Representatives. Paul was sponsored by the Washington Ruritans and Jack was sponsored by the lVlarlboro Lions. Both boys felt that their time was well spent at the 11th consecutive convention.
