Head Custodian People That Work Behind The Scenes 1' f Marie Porter Secretary to the Superfn tendent 41 The administration was aided by an efficient corps of secretaries. All financial records were kept by Mrs. Bernice Wartluft. Attendance was recorded by Mrs. Margaret Nimon along with the records of all athletic events. Mrs. Marie Porter served as secretary to the superintendent. The secretary for Federal Pro- grams was Mrs. Geraldine Swartz. Mrs. Jean Yarian not only worked as a secretary in the main office, but she also operated the switch board. Mrs. Bernice Cassidy served as the Clerk of the Board and was assisted by Mrs. Janet Prather. Mrs. Grace Zellers was the secretary to the librarian. The service crew did an excellent job of keeping the school building and grounds neat and clean. Mr. Louis Francis, the head custodian, was assisted by Mr. Wade Fox, Mr. Donald Moulin, Mr. Dick Quillman, and Mrs. Margaret Elliot. Mr. Carl Flitschard was the head of the district maintenance crew. A new program for a lunch line was tried but proved unsatisfactory due to insufficient equipment. The cooks were Mrs. Evelyn Battershell, Mrs. Mae Burky, Mrs. Ruth Hickerson, Mrs. Naomi Supler, Mrs, Corine Fisher, ' Mrs. Catherine Monter, Mrs. Elda Dillon, and Mrs. Ruth Leutschaft.
