The 63 members of the Sophomore Chorus ad- vanced their voices before their tvvo concerts during the year. ln the Christmas Vocal, the Sophomores performed an excellent concert, singing Praise Ye the Lord of Hosts from Christmas Oratorio, The Carol of the Star, and Winter Wonderland. The spring concert on lVlay 15 vvas the Sophomore Chorus' second public performance. ln the Christmas Vocal, the Sophomore Girls' Glee Club sang Gesu Bambino. ln the same program the Sophomore Girls' Ensemble sang The Night Before Christmas. The chorus's Christmas numbers included Hodie! Christ- mas Natus Est, Czech and Austrian Carols, and Silver Bells. The Freshman Girls' Glee Club per- formed in the Crhistmas program singing Mary Had a Little Baby, a spiritual, and Jingle Bells. The Freshmen also gave an excellent performance in the spring vocal. The 8th Grade Chorus was divided into two 68 member choruses for practice but sang as one chorus for the spring program. The 8th Grade Chorusjoined with the Freshman Chorus and the 8th Grade Band on April 17 for their only performance of the year in the spring vocal concert.
