Throughout the year, the fifty-five members of the Senior Chorus spent many hours of practice in prepa- ration for several concerts. The first performance, the Christmas vocal, was given on December 17. Senior selections in this program included Now Tell Us Gentle Mary, Sing of a Merry Christmas, and Do You Hear What l Hear? The spring program was the Seniors' second performance which was also well re- ceived by the audience. Continuing their musical experiences, many Seniors were also members of the two ensembles, the Senior Mixed Ensemble and Senior Girls's Ensemble. The Senior Mixed Ensemble gave an excellent perfor- mance at the Washington Ruritan Thanksgiving pro- gram on November 23. Other ensemble activities in- cluded contests in which high rankings were received.

Juniors Perform with Enthusiasm Susan Stephenson practices her part for Junior Girls' Ensemble. Under the helpful direction of Mrs. Bingham, the Junior Chorus gained useful experience. This exper- ience vvas gained through practice and performances during the year. The performances included a Christ- mas vocal and another vocal in the spring. Some of their Christmas numbers included Good Christian Men, Rejoice, Hush-a-room Carol, and The Birthday ofa King. Special solos and ensemble selections highlighted the Christmas vocal which vvas enjoyed by all vvho attended. The Junior Mixed Ensemble presented a Christmas program at the First Immanuel United Church of Christ on December 4. Because of the tvvo school concerts and several other vocal programs, the members of the Junior Chorus and ensembles spent a busy year.
