Concert Bands Have Successful Season 1,5 The Symphonic Band is seen practicing for their concert held on February 13. ffm WE' Fw The concert bands' successful season was attributed to their hard work and effort. ln their first performance, the Winter Concert, the Symphonic Band played Golden Boy, Winter Scene, and The King and l. The Concert Band's numbers included Fete Triumphal, Ballet Egyptian, and the Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet. The concert ended with the mass band playing Stars and Stripes Forever. Near the end of the school year the Symphonic Band traveled to the three elementary schools, and performed for the students, who enjoyed it very much. The lVIarlington Stage Band was host for the annual Stage Band Clinic held in the spring. Bobby Rosengarden, orchestra leader on the Dick Cavett Show, was the guest conductor. lVlr. Rosengarden brought several members of his orchestra to the clinic to help the students in various techniques. This ended the season for these bands on a successful note. i X! lf!!!
