Cinderettes Added Feminine Touch to Morlington Trockl Girls' track is becoming more and more popular in Stark County. Each year a Stark County Meet is held for all the local high schools. This year our team placed fourth in competition with 15 schools. Marlington won first over St. Thomas Aquinas in a home meet by a wide margin. Seven members of the team entered the Junior Olym- pics in Canton, all of whom placed. Chick Wil- son, Cindy Farmer, and Helen Bench went to state competition. Chick placed third in 220-yard dash, while Cindy took second in the 440-yard dash, and GlFtL'S TRACK - Front Row: Joan Grinnan, Chick Wilson. Dukes Displayed Skill on the Greens Neil took five. A rugged shot for Dale. Our golf team, coached by John Rydarowicz, ended the '66 season with an 8-7 record. The top players were Lanny Snode, Neil Yarian, Dale Mo- Girr, and Randy Schoonover with Lanny receiving the Most Valuable Player Award. Un- like most sports, ln golf the player with the least number of points ls the winner.
