Future Homemakers of America helps make today's youth become tomorrow's homemakers. As a service club at Marl- ington, F.H.A. activities include such diverse projects as selling cookbooks, working with the Salvation Army, dressing Christmas dolls for underprivileged children, serving at athletic banquets, and giving programs at rest homes. Guest speakers are featured at the monthly meetings, and members partici- pate in demonstrations and discussions. The Marlington chapter is also active in county meetings and state conventions. Four delegates are elected each year to represent Marlington at the state con- vention in Columbus. The highlight of each year is the Mother Daughter Ban- quet, during which officers for the coming year are installed.
