Mrs. Hodge helped them work to realize the Christian purpose of the Y W C A in their own community, country, and world. Service projects included making cosmetic bags for the women in Massillon State Hos- pital and preparing a basket of canned food for the Salvation Army. A demonstration on flower arrange- ments and a talk on various kinds of dinnerware were given by guest speakers during the meetings. Karen seeks advise from fellow officers. .-11... . . Club projects included sponsoring a needy family at Christmas, serving as ushers at various school programs, and lending a helping hand wherever they were needed. As an affiliate of the Y. M. C. A., Hi-Y boys grow mentally, physically, and socially, and endeavor to live 3 Christian life. All those in favor . . 39
