The Shield staff did a fine job this year in presenting us our school paper. For the subscription campaign, they made a Shield Shack and sold many subscriptions. The staff was made up of freshmen, soph- omores, juniors and seniors who were alert and quick to get the latest scoop on all our special activities. Doings in Dukedom and other old famil- iar topics appeared in our newspaper. Many new things were also printed in this year's Shield, such as the T.V.l., Typical Village Idiot. Each one has a job to do, and each does it. Writing copy, cropping pictures, drawing layouts, and paying bills are some of these jobs. Laughing, talking, and making new friends are also part of these jobs. The staff has recorded the happenings of the school year in the book we call the 1967 Scenario.
