Student librarians made it possible for pupils and faculty to have access to a variety of learning materials, which included books, magazines, film strips, and records. Some of their duties were pre- paring new books for circulation, repairing old ones, shelving books and magazines, charging out books, and checking for overdue books. Monthly meetings were held for the librarians at which they discussed library routines and popular books. At times a teach- er or outside speaker gave a talk on a particular book or led a discussion. Several field trips were taken to other libraries and the traditional Christmas party was held in December.
