Since a student's success in business depends greatly upon his past education, Marlington strove to promote complete knowledge of all business aspects. Once this knowledge was attained, the in- dividual had accomplished a feat which would serve him the rest of his life. Mr Walter Headley Machine Woodworking QBGGGQ Teachers Equipped Students for Business World Mr Lance Hite Advance Metals The goal of the Industrial Arts Department was to create in the minds of the student, through many experiences, an awakening to the many values and responsibilities of working with tools, machines and materials. From these experiences the student recognized the importance of cooperating and work- ing with others, planning and finishing his work with a definite procedure, acquiring the ability to use tools and machinery with care and skill.
