Often students are swept up in the bustle of their high school social lives and forget why they are in school. Public schools were developed to offer sound educations for our nation's youth, not to provide concerts, plays, and athletic events for the general public. At Marlington a student may learn the fundamentals of a trade in a commercial, agricultural, or industrial field. This training will enable him to find a job as soon as he graduates. Another student may choose a course which will prepare him for college and a pro- fession, or for a specific training school. No matter what the future holds for Mar- lington students, all know that careful atten- tion in classes and conscientious study help to assure success and security in the future. g W - ..... i ' .
