Those who saw it commented that its success was due to the wholehearted effort of all who participated. During the 1966-67 school year the many bands, choruses, ensembles, and soloists re- hearsed for programs, concerts, clinics, and contests. The marching band created a special atmosphere at the football gamesg the stage band hosted a four school clinicg and the select chorus performed sacred songs at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and East- er. Early in March three soloists and two ensembles got superior ratings at the state level in the contest held at Hoover High School.
