0 EOFT OIT 'TBADI Dogs Bomb the Blackcats Last year Marlin was put to shame at their homecoming by jeff-Moore. This year was a different story. The 18 senior Bulldogs were honorary captains. Fruidenberg passed to his receivers and gave the ball to jones who ran for a touchdown from 12 yds. Then Shorter re- ceived a 10-yard pass good for the T.D. and later scored on a 38-yard pass which ended the scoring of the game. Since this was the last Homecoming forthe seniors, the game was dedicated to them with the score of 24 to O over the Mexia Blackcats. It didn't last long because Connally scored twice to Marlin's once. The score was 12-6 at the half. The second half was the Cadet's before the Dogs could score on a pass from Fruidenberg to White. In the end, Marlin came up short by 10 points. The final score was 22 to 12. nfl , ,,,-1
