Af.5'0Al PREPARING FUR OUR DECADE We stand on the brink of a new horizon, our decade of the 7O's. We have before us harmony or strife, prosperity or poverty, war or peace. Within these ten short years we will become local, national, and even world leaders. Such a challenge imposes the re- sponsibility of preparation. To prepare to lead this world toward peace, harmony, and prosperity, and away from strife and prejudice, we attend Marlin High School. Yet, the efforts of our teachers to teach become void without individual desire to learn. The student must learn all he can while he can, because, in the end, all the solutions to all the problems ofthe world come down to the individual. Whether the individual is able to cope with these problems or not will de- pend upon his preparation--now. Wwmmwhmi
