No one is likely to forget B uddy L uca s as Deacon Dubbs, Betty Sue Osborn as Miss Philipenie Popover,Phyllis Craven as Yennie Yenson, or Eugene Radle as Deuteronomy Jones. Loyd Parton brought the house down as the villian, and Lola Holcomb seemed acually to bc the mischievous little sister of the hero, played by Bobbie Bal- lew. Rose Haleigh, portrayed by Helen Tomczeszyn, and Sidney Ann Collins, as the rich neighbor, as well as the auctioneer,C larence Shields, were all b e l i e vab le.
