SCHOOL BOARD Harold Doyle, Trees.: M. C. Wolfe, Supt.g Wm HcCrea, Sec,g Irvin Cnllender, Pres. Chas. Wook, Kenneth Redmond, Trustees This group of officials has the welfare of our school at heart, Veteran mem- bers Jas Dale and l il Gisch retired last summer and two new men, Chas. Wood and Kenneth Redmond, were elected to fill their places. The duties of a school board in a large community school like Marlette are greater than those in ordinary schools. Our board should be commended for having established a school that is recognized as one of the outstanding in the state both in organization and in policy. N'1. 5 A I

0 OLS It's a sight worth seeing any day to watch the students of marlette come and jig go on the fourteen school buses. The -v drivers have e very trying day of it even though they only see the students about two hours a day. Much credit should be given to them for getting us to school through all the snow and mud. Our hats off to the bus drivers of '47. . I hear the janitors are just about as had as Lbs. Slack about eating. They've been with us a long time and we would certainly miss them if they weren't here. They're always willing to help out in anyway. Norman Benedict and Dean Cook
