Of these forty pupils seven live in town and thirty-three come on buses from the rural area. The class room is located in the grade library. This has been much appreciatedby the children as they have had free access to a great nu ber of books this year.

Bean There are 46 of the 67 second grade children in this room. Thirty-two of these children are transported by bus. In the Afternoon 15 boys and girls from this room go to the kindergarten cottage for special help in reading. In addition to our bnsic text several sets of supplementary readers am available: each child gets a weekly render and we get 50 books from our grade library which are exchanged every six weeks. At the close of our first semester we gave the California Progressive Reading Tam in which our children tested above average. In Aay we will give the Stanford Achievement Test: this test includes reading, spelling, and arithmetic. '

Ramsey, B. Scholz We have 46 boys and girls in our room this year. Marilyn Brown and Richard Holl- and started in the fall but left before Christmas. Patricia Fuller and Zary Lou Brooks joined our group soon after they moved away. Since we had so many pupils in our room, Mrs. Wolfe takes 13 pupils every after- noon. Marlene Olsen, Donna Williams and Marilyn Cargill have had perfect attendance this year. he have had several parties in our room this year. he celebrated all the importmt Holidays by doing something special. Thirty-four boys and girls from our room ride on the bus every day. The other twelve live in town.
