It is possible for a boy to earn one credit toward graduation in physical edu cation by taking the course for two years addition, the two year course was made ocsapul sory for all boys in high school The opening of the p e progran to a ludh wider group of boys was a forward step in edu cation in larletts P e 1sn't just a wartime leed although there can be no doubt as to its value as a process in training the war youth It is also a peacetine lsasure If we plan to have a strong postwar generation to uphold the standards for which we have fought, two hjcr conflicts, we must train thu for their phys ical well being, as well as for their nental and spiritual Q e e In it Of lst L to R I Halleck, R Collins, G Jackson, E Gisch, J Innes L Gisch, E Walker, I Tarapata, H Hicks nd J Shields, H Griffin, J Jackson, I Stevenson, P kailes, P Fox, Hewitt, D Bowen,V Paling H Pruett,C VanBston, C lorth, L J Griffi 3rd Innes, D Coleman,L Wood, E Inrse, D Burns, I Crothers, L, Stinson, 4t Stephenson, B Wood, I Horth, R Haag, A Hawkins, I leneth, I Pspp, P Iclsnn, G Hawkins, B Cross, L Vol: J Cameron, I Harris CHOIR The Iarlette School Choir is more than just a choir It is a group that has as an interest and objective the development of the lndivxdual voice and personality Good, strong and correct speaking and singing voices are devel oped through class vocal technique Each member is required to sing at least two solos during the year The choir puts on several programs which are highlighted by the annual Christmas program and the Easter cantata The alunni, which now total over one hwndred former singers, are invited back at Christmas time to take part in the program During lay the ohozr sent an octette and several soloists to Lansing in the All State Chorus, which was held at Michigan State College I e e e e s e 2 . .
